The W. W. Williams Company is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and execution focused Regional Operations Manager to implement operations programs and best practices by partnering with local and divisional management to ensure support for generator service operations. It will be your responsibility to ensure superior account management including high quality, on-time service, and customer satisfaction, while achieving business and financial goals. Plan and direct all generator Service Operations activities for assigned location(s), to meet contracted requirements, as well as unplanned customer maintenance requirements. Conduct financial analysis including forecasting, estimating, monitoring, and recovery planning. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations.

Plan and direct all generator Service Operations activities for assigned location(s), to meet contracted requirements, as well as unplanned customer maintenance requirements. Conduct financial analysis including forecasting, estimating, monitoring, and recovery planning. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations.
Candidate Profile
- Experience partnering with customer representatives and internal operational personnel to develop and demonstrate solutions to resolve customer problems and win
- 5+ years' experience of advanced leadership with power generation, field service, or fleet operations preferably in transportation, logistics, or heavy-duty service industries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, drive revenue growth, and scale operations.
- Deep understanding of power generation services, technician management, and customer success.
- Visible and influential Company representative at relevant industry trade shows and conferences to solicit new business.
- Familiarity with CRM, FSM, and analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, Karmak)
- Bachelor's degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university; or 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally (up to 30%).
Core Competencies
- Contributes knowledge of Generator Service Department activities to help formulate Branch's business forecast and annual marketing plan, maintaining a good feedback loop to Branch personnel to allow for adjustments as required.
- Reviews monthly operating results against Plan forecast, to identify areas of focus and improvement.
- Plans for and enforces the adherence to company policy by personnel in the Generator Service Department to assure compliance with internal and external safety, environmental and fiscal standards, especially as related to regulations and training specific to the area of power generation.
- Participates in establishing long-range company goals, objectives and/or strategies, and communicates them to the Generator Service Teams for branch integration.
- Analyzes activities, costs, operations, and/or forecast data to determine Generator Service Department's progress toward corporate initiatives.
- Recommends and implements corrective action or procedural changes based on findings of above analyses. Monitors these changes to ensure continuous improvement.
- Reviews and approves equipment purchases (specs/costs/timeframes), negotiates with local providers of services and/or repairs to keep equipment expenses within budgets.
- Hire, promote and mentor employees, process performance reviews, assign and evaluate work, set pay, handle disciplinary actions up to and including terminations, following established delegation of authority guidelines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and Salesforce contract management systems.
