Overview

SALARY + PERFORMANCE BONUS (OUR TOP REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER EARN $150K+ IN THEIR FIRST YEAR)

Great Day Improvements LLC, an innovator and leader in the home remodeling market, is currently seeking a driven and experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of the Installation and Operations in our MIDWEST - UPPER region. The region covers the MINNESOTA, WISCONSIN, ILLINOIS & IOWA markets and will continue to grow. Great Day Improvements is a vertically integrated company that designs, manufactures, sells, and installs the Patio Enclosures sunroom and Stanek window products.

As a member of our management team, the candidate will be responsible for effectively managing the Installation/Operations of the three regional branches.

Responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day operations of multiple locations.
2. Utilize our in-house CRM system for job and project management.
3. Implement and oversee customer satisfaction processes.
4. Ensure job profitability, job costing, budgeting, and related financial responsibilities.
5. Recruit, hire, and train teams based on capacity needs.
6. Oversee team performance and train staff on proper procedures.
7. Monitor and evaluate the performance and quality standards of subcontractors.
8. Oversee training on proper installation procedures for all company products.
9. Manage material orders, measures, and breakouts as necessary.
10. Review and implement safety standards.
11. Meet with customers to review complex jobs and resolve service issues.
12. Maintain a rolling 30-day installation schedule.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general management, preferably in remodeling or residential construction.
2. P&L responsibility experience preferred.
3. Experience in team building and management preferred.
4. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
5. Process-oriented mindset.
6. Excellent customer relations and problem-solving skills.
7. Experience working with multiple trades and subcontractors.
8. Proficiency in technology, especially MS Excel.
9. Ability to travel regularly to all locations.

COMPENSATION:

Purpose and Scope of Job

The Regional Operations Manager oversees projects from contract to completion, managing multiple locations with direct reports in each. Responsibilities include communication with customers, ensuring project profitability, obtaining permits, managing subcontractors, scheduling, and meeting revenue/profitability targets. They review difficult jobs, ensure quality and profitability standards, and handle customer concerns. Hiring and training of installation teams is also a key duty.
