Job summary

Simplot Company seeks an Area Location Manager to oversee operations across SGS Bakersfield, Edison, and Hanford. You will drive safety, efficiency, asset utilization, logistics, and technology adoption while building high-performing teams.

This role requires 3+ years in operations leadership, experience with ERP or inventory systems, and strong MS Office skills. Travel up to 50% and a competitive rewards package including 401(k) and PTO. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leadership experience in operations, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, agriculture, transportation, or related industries.
• Experience implementing technology solutions and business systems.
• Strong understanding of asset management, fleet management, inventory control, and business planning.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and operational software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient, and profitable operations across multiple locations.
• Implement and optimize new technology platforms, systems, and digital tools.
• Create workflow efficiencies across facilities and operational functions.
• Maximize equipment, fleet, facility, and inventory utilization.
• Oversee logistics, transportation planning, procurement, and inventory strategies.
• Develop business plans, budgets, capital plans, and operational metrics.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, DOT, environmental, and company requirements.
