Job summary

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking an Operations Specialist to travel across the Southeast, primarily North and South Carolina, assisting Regional Directors of Operations. The role includes interim leadership, regulatory compliance, quality audits, and special projects to improve occupancy, staffing, and finances.

This position supports on-site openings and long-term assignments, with frequent travel (up to 90%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus.
• Minimum of three (3) years of Assisted Living Executive Director experience with increasing responsibility including budgetary responsibilities preferred.
• Knowledge of and ability to conform to applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Proven ability to foster a cooperative work environment, deal with conflict resolution, and/or mediate various situations within the workplace.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
• Ability to work flexible schedules in a 24-hour operation.
• Travel up to 90% of time with ability to support long term on-site assignments.
• Ability to hold multistate Administrator License (NC, SC, VA, GA, TN, WV, & KY a plus)

Responsibilities

• Travel to Navion Senior Solutions communities to serve as Interim Executive Director for vacancies.
• On-site assignments to turn around communities focusing on occupancy, staffing, expenses, licensure, and compliance.
• Support openings during pre-opening and initial lease-up stages.
• Drive region revenue with move-ins and resident retention.
• Monitor region expenses in staffing, overtime, bad debt, turnover, and controllables.
• Monitor care services and regulatory compliance.
• Train new EDs and leadership positions as needed.
• Conduct and review Quality Assurance Audits.
• Resolve grievances from residents, families, staff promptly.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all service areas.
