Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Area Operations Leader to oversee the value stream from PO receipt to closure across four Texas/Oklahoma centers. You will lead service coordination, order management, inventory, inside sales, invoicing and collections, ensuring customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.

The role requires 7–10 years in industrial product space, strong leadership and P&L experience, and travel 45–70% with a base in Texas or Oklahoma. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; Engineering, Technical, Marketing or Business preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in industrial product space with diverse product offerings including service.
• Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Profit & Loss experience, forecasting needs, obtaining resources and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor order management and drive process improvements for accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with sales on contract terms and order processing to minimize errors.
• Coordinate with service to ensure customer experience, parts availability and technician productivity.
• Visit customers regularly to understand process challenges and requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop inside sales staff and drive continuous improvement through performance management.
