Job summary

Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee field operations across Columbia, SC, Florence, SC, and Augusta, GA. You will lead multiple locations, drive safety, service quality, and operational excellence.

The ROM will manage recruiting, fleet maintenance coordination, CRM with railroad customers, and performance improvement initiatives. A degree and supervisory experience preferred; strong communication and MS Office skills required; travel will

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1+ year of supervisory or management experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Proficient in PTI software such as DriveCam, Trimble, and Crew.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the branch.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and 5+ years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist underperforming locations with recruiting and hiring.
• Assist with management of branch locations where local management positions are vacant.
• Analyze a branch location to identify and resolve root causes of performance issues.
• Meet with local customer representatives to address performance concerns.
• Resolve trip coverage issues.
• Upfit vehicles to include exterior safety decals and safety equipment.
• Install GPS, Drive Cam, and railroad radios as needed.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance programs with vendors.
• Develop relationships with railroad customers and report safety issues.
• Attend railroad safety meetings when possible.
