Job summary

Emerald Healthcare in Nebraska is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to oversee the performance of multiple skilled nursing facilities. You will partner with Executive Directors to ensure regulatory compliance, financial results, and consistent operational standards across the region.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration (Master’s preferred), multi-facility leadership in long-term care, strong CMS knowledge, and the ability to travel within the region to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience leading multi-facility operations in skilled nursing or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for multiple skilled nursing facilities
• Coach and hold Executive Directors accountable for performance
• Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations
• Drive quality assurance, survey readiness, and performance improvement
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost-control initiatives
• Implement operational standards, policies, and best practices
• Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and internal leadership
