Job summary

Adept is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities and drive performance across regions. The role requires strong leadership to develop regional leaders and ensure high standards of resident care.

The candidate will partner with Administrators and cross-functional teams to enhance clinical outcomes, regulatory readiness, and financial performance while maintaining a culture focused on quality care and accountability.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) required or highly preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute healthcare.
• Proven track record of improving facility performance and regulatory readiness.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for multiple skilled nursing facilities within the region.
• Coach, mentor, and support facility Administrators and regional leadership teams.
• Monitor facility performance and develop action plans for improvement.
• Drive census growth, retention, quality outcomes, and overall facility performance.
• Review budgets, labor management, and key operational metrics.
• Ensure facilities comply with CMS, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical, HR, recruitment, and finance teams to meet goals.
• Support facilities through surveys, plans of correction, and regulatory initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and resident satisfaction.
