The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is currently looking for full-time civilian Regional Operations Director (Instructor Pilot), GS-0301-12 with the Civil Air Patrol-United States Air Force Liaison Office, Southwest Region located in Naval Air Station-Joint Reserve Base Ft Worth, TX
Salary Range: $116,000 — 131,000 (SSR — 0764)
No 180-day Waiver Required Recruitment and Relocation incentives may be available.
Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
In this role, you will serve as Civil Air Patrol – United States Air Force (CAP-USAF) Regional Program Manager assigned to analyze, validate performance, assign and approve missions, assess risk and risk management program, and ensure continued operational viability and existence of CAP wings and compliance with the Congressionally mandated Cooperative Agreement (CA) that supports CAP activities.
