Job summary

8Fleet, Inc. is seeking a Regional Operations Associate to support the Regional Operations Manager by tracking, analyzing, and improving performance across multiple markets.

You’ll work with data, build dashboards, and prepare materials for market reviews, occasionally visiting sites to observe on-ground operations. As you learn the business, you’ll take on specific workstreams, own markets or metrics, and collaborate cross-functionally to turn numbers into decisions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in operations, analytics or similar fast-paced, data-driven roles.
• Comfort with spreadsheets and numbers; able to explain insights clearly.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to spot anomalies early.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bias toward action and willingness to figure things out without a playbook.
• Willingness to travel to markets periodically.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with SQL or BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track regional KPIs: driver supply, fleet utilization, labor, safety, and financial performance.
• Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reports for region and market leaders.
• Pull and clean operational data, catch inconsistencies, flag anomalies.
• Prepare materials for market performance reviews and track follow-up actions.
• Run first-pass analysis on underperforming markets to identify causes and timing.
• Document best practices and keep playbooks/SOPs up to date.
• Coordinate logistics for market visits, audits, and cross-market initiatives.
• Own a specific market, metric, or project as you grow.
