Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh, PA, is hiring a regular full-time Regional Clinical Research Manager to support the Community Oncology program across the Southwest greater Pittsburgh region. The role oversees operational management of clinical research activities at multiple network locations, with a hybrid daytime schedule, Monday–Friday.

In partnership with regional physician leads, this position drives growth and integration of trials, ensures protocol compliance and patient safety,

Qualifications

• Experience leading clinical research programs and teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (IRB, FDA submissions) and data management.
• Strong collaboration with physician leaders and site coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Regional CRS within the Community Oncology program.
• Supervise clinical research staff and manage recruitment, activation, and execution of studies.
• Coordinate multi-site trials across Pittsburgh network locations and Steubenville, OH region.
• Ensure protocol compliance, patient safety, and data integrity across sites.
• Mentor staff, develop professional growth plans, and oversee training.
• Facilitate sponsor communications and serve as liaison for multi-center trials.
