Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to supervise 4–6 offices and deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience. You will set expectations for consultative service, operational execution, and team performance across locations.

You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategic oversight with hands-on presence, and own office readiness, staffing, compliance, and day‑to‑day operations to drive business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Proven ability to drive business results while managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations.
• Experience with facilities, staffing, or compliance in an operational role.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution and client impact across locations to drive improvements.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals for consistent performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns and develop bench strength for high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across the offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve results, acquisition, and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
