Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. invites a seasoned Area Experience Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices and ensure a consistent, high‑quality client experience across locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, align priorities, and drive business results while maintaining in‑office presence. In this role you’ll own office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day‑to‑day operations, balancing strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership to deliver exceptional client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi‑unit retail/service/ops environment.
• Strong client‑centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business results across multiple locations including labor management.
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance.
• Identify patterns and develop bench strength and talent across offices.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and act to improve business results.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance across offices.
• Prepare offices for seasonal demand and office readiness.
