Job summary

H&R Block seeks an Area Experience Leader to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, and own office readiness, staffing, and operations to drive business results.

This role requires strong leadership, change management ability, and a hands-on approach to maintain client satisfaction across locations and seasons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit environment with accountability for performance.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Proven leadership capability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Ability to drive business results while managing daily operations across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive actions to improve results.
• Oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Ensure office readiness across locations.
