Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license (unrestricted).
• BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required on hire.
• Knowledge of CQI, risk management, patient safety, and ANA standards for correctional nursing.
• Strong written and oral communication with ability to negotiate and solve problems.
• Experience as a Supervisory Nurse or Nurse Manager.
• Experience monitoring staff performance and conducting performance management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, supervisory, clinical and administrative support to Health Authorities within the assigned Region.
• Ensure health care is delivered in compliance with state and federal guidelines and standardize health care procedures throughout the region.
• Assist in recruitment and orientation of Health Authorities in the Region upon hire.
