Qualifications

• Virginia RN license or eligibility with NCLEX-RN schedule if new graduate
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC required upon hire
• Knowledge of CQI, risk management, patient safety, ANA standards
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Experience as Supervisory Nurse/Nurse Manager
• Experience with monitoring staff performance and performance management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
• Working knowledge of nursing administration and policies

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to Health Authorities within the Region
• Ensure health care is delivered per state/federal guidelines and standardize procedures
• Assist in recruitment and retention of health care personnel; orient new Health Authorities
