Job summary

El Centro Family Health is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee clinic operations and deliver high‑quality patient care in our New Mexico network. You will supervise regional nursing staff, delegate tasks, and ensure staffing levels align with patient needs.

Responsibilities include auditing documentation for PCMH standards, using EHRs for patient data, and coordinating with providers and Lead Medical Assistants to optimize workflows. Travel to clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Mexico.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support regional nursing staff, including recruiting candidates, identifying training needs, and assisting with performance evaluations.
• Assign and delegate patient care tasks, ensure appropriate staffing levels, and provide direct patient care as needed.
• Audit nursing documentation to ensure compliance with PCMH standards.
• Utilize EHR to document patient information, track labs, imaging, and referrals.
• Manage medication inventory and security, including dispensing and removing expired meds.
• Serve as the liaison to the Director of Nursing regarding clinic operations and purchase orders.
