Zusammenfassung

El Centro Family Health in New Mexico is seeking a Nurse Manager who oversees clinic operations, supervises regional nursing staff, and ensures high-quality patient care in alignment with the NM Nurse Practice Act.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will coordinate staffing, monitor documentation and EHR usage, manage medication inventory, and collaborate with providers and medical assistants. Travel to El Centro clinics is required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in New Mexico.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; strong interpersonal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and support regional nursing staff, including recruiting candidates, identifying training needs, and assisting with performance evaluations.
• Assign and delegate patient care tasks, ensure appropriate staffing levels, and provide direct patient care as needed.
• Audit nursing documentation to ensure compliance with PCMH standards.
• Utilize EHR to document patient information, track lab results, diagnostic imaging, and referrals.
• Manage medication inventory and security, including dispensing pharmaceuticals and maintaining emergency carts.
• Serve as primary liaison to the Director of Nursing regarding clinic operations and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with providers and Lead Medical Assistants to coordinate patient care and optimize workflows.
• Demonstrate leadership and advanced nursing knowledge in an outpatient setting, including physical assessments and triage.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a patient-centered approach while supporting teamwork and changes.
