Job summary

Greater New Bedford Surgicenter/Candescent Eye Health seeks a Regional Nurse Director to lead clinical operations across ophthalmology ambulatory surgical centers in Dartmouth, MA and Warwick, RI. This role partners with Eye Surgeons, anesthesia, and executive leadership to drive safe patient care and high-performing teams.

The position emphasizes Monday–Friday leadership with collaborative culture, accreditation readiness, and budget management across two centers.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in MA/RI or eligible within 30 days of start.
• BSN preferred for leadership role.
• Experience leading ambulatory surgery teams and collaborating with physicians.
• Strong knowledge of AAAHC accreditation and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional nursing leadership for two ambulatory centers (Dartmouth, MA and Warwick, RI).
• Ensure safe, efficient perioperative patient care and high-quality outcomes.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and operational planning.
• Drive accreditation readiness and quality improvement initiatives.
• Partner with executives, surgeons, anesthesia, and clinical staff.
