Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RI Licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS preferred.
• Operating room experience or PACU/CCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative areas.
• Anticipate patient and surgical team needs, provide services according to professional nursing standards while maintaining a safe environment.
• Participate in patient teaching and provide leadership with ancillary personnel to maintain professional nursing standards.
• Collaborate with the operating room team, including anesthesia providers, surgeons and surgical technologists.
