Job summary

Comunidade Metodista in Illinois is seeking a Regional Nurse Consultant to provide clinical leadership for nursing home teams across multiple sites, ensuring resident care meets federal, state, and local regulations while supporting survey readiness.

This full-time role requires a current RN license in Illinois (or compact with eligibility), a minimum of 3 years' multi-site oversight in long‑term care, strong regulatory knowledge, excellent communication and travel regularly throughout Northern

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Illinois (or compact with eligibility).
• Minimum 3 years of multi-site clinical oversight in long‑term care.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and survey processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and consultation to nursing home teams across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate clinical practices, survey readiness, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with staff education, onboarding, and training related to nursing policies and procedures.
• Support and mentor Directors of Nursing and clinical teams to improve resident care and outcomes.
• Analyze quality indicators and clinical data to drive improvements and implement corrective actions as needed.
