Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of North Platte seeks a Regional Nurse Clinician to provide clinical oversight and leadership across multiple Nebraska skilled nursing facilities. The role emphasizes education, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement, with travel to facilities throughout the West-Central Region.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in long-term care, an active RN license, and proven leadership ability to guide nursing teams while navigating complex state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska (or compact state).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Prior leadership experience (DON, ADON, or Unit Manager preferred).
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Proven ability to lead, educate, and motivate clinical teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support and guidance to nursing leadership and staff across multiple locations.
• Assist with survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Conduct clinical audits, chart reviews, and mock surveys.
• Educate and mentor nursing staff on best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Support onboarding and training of new Directors of Nursing and nurse leaders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Travel regularly to assigned facilities within the West-Central Region of Nebraska.
