Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking an NF Commercial Manager to oversee purchasing and inventory management of nonferrous metals within a defined region, coordinating with Regional Accounts Managers, the Recycling Operations Director, and Buyers.

You will drive pricing strategies, monitor the region’s forecast and Buy Plan, and oversee yard activities, ensuring safety, quality, and timely shipments while expanding supplier sources.

Qualifications

• Seven to 10 years of scrap metal recycling industry experience.
• Experience at yard level with the ability to identify and grade all NF metals.
• Valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
• Local candidates with knowledge of regional market preferred.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.
• Strong supervisory and customer service skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent math and problem-solving skills; strong negotiation and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel regionally and domestically.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing and inventory management of nonferrous metals within a region.
• Coordinate with Regional Directors to meet the Buy Plan and forecasted volumes.
• Develop pricing strategies and monitor market conditions for profitability.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are followed.
• Lead yard visits and manage orders, shipments, and material grading.
