Job summary

Radius Recycling seeks an experienced NF Commercial Manager to oversee purchasing and inventory management of nonferrous metals across a defined region. You will work with regional managers, commercial operations, and the central sales team to optimize pricing, margins, and upgrades while growing the supplier base.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, market awareness, and adherence to safety and internal controls. Travel regionally is required, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of scrap metal recycling industry experience.
• Experience at yard level identifying and grading all NF metals, ideally as a metals recycling buyer.
• Valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
• Local candidates with knowledge of regional market preferred.
• Spanish language skills a plus.
• Excellent supervisory, customer service, and negotiation skills; strong math and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing and inventory management of nonferrous metals for a defined region.
• Coordinate with operations, sales, and regional managers to align buy plans with forecasts.
• Provide pricing guidance and market updates to NR facilities within the region.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain internal controls.
• Lead special projects and optimise material upgrades and margins.
