Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Construction Manager for the Worldwide Grocery Real Estate & Store Development - New Store Construction team. You will manage full construction lifecycle for new store builds, from design review to handover, across your region, interfacing with developers, GCs, design consultants, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of project management, real estate development, architecture/design experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day project execution with internal teams, ensuring schedule milestones and budget targets are met.
• Serve as primary liaison between construction teams and internal partner organizations.
• Align external delivery from project managers, architects, design consultants, contractors, and subcontractors with project requirements.
• Manage customer and external partner relationships and define project parameters for quality and timely delivery.
• Support negotiations of agreements with customers, suppliers, and external partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to mitigate risks to innovation or customer satisfaction and find a path forward in tough situations.
• Make trade-off decisions and defend them to internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project execution metrics and report challenges to the CPM with corrective actions.
• Recommend improvements to project scoping, building, testing, and deployment processes.
• Review project requests against business needs to provide approvals or alternatives.
• Execute day-to-day operations autonomously to deliver the right outcomes with minimal guidance.
