Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Field-based Regional Reimbursement Director to lead payer access and reimbursement strategies for its neurology portfolio in the North Central region. You will build relationships with MACs, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups, monitor market access trends, and support regional launch preparedness.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in pharma/biotech or consulting with 5+ years in reimbursement and deep knowledge of coverage, coding, and payment policies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pharma/biotech or consulting, with 5+ years in reimbursement of injectable/infused drugs or medical devices
• Expert knowledge of coverage, coding, and payment policies
• Bachelor's degree required
• Advanced degrees (MBA, MPH, MS) or coding certification preferred
• Experience with Medicare Part D, physician-administered drugs, and working across payer/provider landscapes highly advantageous

Responsibilities

• Develop reimbursement strategies.
• Build relationships with MACs, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups.
• Provide reimbursement support at professional events.
• Monitor market access trends, and advise internal teams on access barriers and opportunities.
• Lead regional launch preparedness for new neurology therapies, ensuring payer coverage and coding considerations are addressed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and mitigate access challenges, inform sales and brand strategies, and support strategic initiatives to grow product utilization
