Job summary

The Regional Medical Scientific Director | Cardiopulmonary & Pulmonary Hypertension at Merck & Co., Inc. is a credentialed therapeutic expert who engages in scientific exchange and data support with external leaders and investigators in the medical community.

You will facilitate peer-level relationships, provide data generation support for ISP and sponsored trials, and align with Research & Development strategies.

Qualifications

• Three years in biotech/pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
• Three years clinical and/or research in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary areas or five years as MSL.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, networking and presentation skills.
• Deep therapeutic knowledge and staying updated in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary areas.
• Network with external customers including leaders and institutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage relationships with national, regional and clinical leaders.
• Conduct peer-level scientific discussions and provide a Research & Development contact.
• Support data generation activities for ISP and sponsored trials.
• Provide scientific support for the Health Systems Teams.
• Represent the division at meetings and participate in post-congress debriefs.
• Comply with policies and foster diversity and inclusion.
