Job summary

Merck & Co. seeks a Regional Medical Scientific Director for Cardiopulmonary & Pulmonary Hypertension.

You will engage external scientific leaders, support data generation, and contribute to strategic medical affairs in the Central Plains US region. The role requires advanced degree or APP, several years in cardiovascular/pulmonary science, and the ability to build peer-level relationships while advancing our research interests and clinical data programs.

Qualifications

• Three years in biotech/pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
• Three years clinical and/or research in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary areas or five years MSL in a relevant TA.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, networking and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage relationships with scientific leaders and investigators across the Southeast US region.
• Provide scientific exchange and data support for external stakeholders and ISP programs.
• Represent Merck in scientific meetings and inform internal strategy with external insights.
