Job summary

First United Bank in Plano, TX is seeking a Mortgage Regional Closing & Funding Manager to support the Closing Manager by leading a team that closes and funds complex conventional and government residential loans, ensuring compliance with bank and investor standards.

You will train staff, guide support teams, and optimize closing procedures while monitoring funding wires to ensure timely disbursement. Experience with government loan types and Encompass is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years mortgage loan closing experience or 5+ years with equivalent work history.
• Thorough knowledge of closing and funding procedures.
• Experience with closing documentation and regulatory requirements (Fannie/Freddie/FHA/VA).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Closing Manager with staff closing and funding of complex loans.
• Train and coach staff to master closing documentation and disclosures.
• Monitor wires and ensure funds are wired in time for funding.
• Provide guidance to support staff and liaise with attorneys and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with investor standards and regulatory requirements.
