Love's Travel Stops is seeking an Area Merchandising Manager to drive merchandising processes, coach sales teams, and manage vendor relations across multiple locations. The role emphasizes compliance, performance improvement, and strong leadership in a fast‑paced environment.

The ideal candidate has district restaurant management experience, budget and P&L skills, and a track record of leading teams through influence in multi-unit settings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a district restaurant management position required.
• 2+ years deciphering and impacting budgets and P&L statements.
• 2+ years leading through influence in a multi-unit setting.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clear expectations to achieve all brand, performance, and behavior standards.
• Conduct regular quarterly visits and weekly conference calls for each location.
• Collaborate with the District Manager(s) to manage employee turnover and retention including recruiting, training, evaluation and succession planning.
• Identify areas of opportunity on monthly, weekly, and daily reports and implement plans to improve performance.
• Recognize and resolve customer feedback by determining optimal solutions promptly.
• Protect company assets by following audit processes and Love’s policies and cash handling procedures.
