Job summary

GMS is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee merchandising operations across a multi-state territory, managing 25–35 locations from central MA. The role centers on live goods merchandising, plan-o-grams, CVP processes, inventory control, staffing, and labor budgets.

You will direct Area Managers and Field Supervisors, build strong relationships with store leadership, drive sales growth, and develop field leaders through coaching and training; travel extensively is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive retail, merchandising, or multi-unit operations experience preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience recruiting, training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Experience leading multiple retail locations or geographic markets.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred; experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead Area Managers and Field Supervisors; establish performance expectations and accountability.
• Conduct leadership meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
• Develop future leaders and succession plans; support recruiting and onboarding.
