Job summary

Serenity Healthcare is seeking a Regional Medical Director – Psychiatrist in Atlanta, GA to lead our outpatient interventional psychiatry program. You’ll guide psychiatrists and advanced practitioners while ensuring clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you’ll oversee service delivery across the region, manage budgets, recruit providers, and shape strategic plans.

Qualifications

• Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Licensed, or willing to become licensed, in the state of the clinic location.
• Experience with interventional treatment techniques, preferably TMS.
• 2+ years of demonstrable leadership experience.
• Unencumbered DEA and clean criminal background.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or hold a Green Card.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outpatient clinical practice with options like non-invasive neuromodulation (dTMS) and ketamine infusions.
• Manage psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners in the region.
• Lead and mentor medical staff to foster collaboration and support.
• Oversee clinical operations ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Develop and implement regional strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage regional budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
• Implement and enforce healthcare policies and procedures across the region.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and accreditation standards.
• Analyze healthcare data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
