Job summary

SECTR Partners is recruiting a Regional Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and strategic medical oversight for a portfolio of 15 veterinary hospitals in Washington. The role focuses on mentorship, protocol development, and enhancing patient outcomes across sites.

You will collaborate with hospital medical directors, drive clinical goals, and support ongoing education while maintaining high standards of care and client experience. Occasional travel within WA is required.

Qualifications

• DVM from an accredited veterinary school and licensed to practice.
• Active Washington State veterinary license in good standing or eligible.
• +5 years leadership experience as a Medical Director.
• Multi-site leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly among WA veterinary hospitals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical leadership and guidance to veterinarians and hospital medical teams across the region.
• Partner with hospital medical directors to establish clinical goals, protocols, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve clinical workflows, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
• Support continuing education and professional development initiatives.
• Foster a culture in which veterinarians feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow.
• Support initiatives designed to improve client experience while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school.
• Active Washington State veterinary license in good standing, or eligibility for licensure.
• + 5 years leadership experience as a Medical Director
• Multi-site leadership experience preferred
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly among veterinary hospitals throughout Washington State.
