Job summary

MavenHealth Solutions in California's Central Valley is seeking a Regional Medical Director to partner with the Chief Medical Officer, oversee clinical operations, growth, and compliance across five clinic sites from Merced to Livingston, and provide strategic leadership to about 20 providers.

This FQHC emphasizes people first, underserved communities, and a culture where ideas are heard and leaders have impact.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active California Medical License.
• Board Certification in area of specialty.
• 3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably in primary care/outpatient medicine.
• Provider supervisory, medical leadership, or related leadership experience.
• FQHC, community health center, or experience serving underserved populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• 60% administrative duties, 40% patient care.
• Work closely with the CMO and Regional Medical Director.
• Develop exceptional providers and leaders.
• Influence policy and decision making to support growth.

Job description

A staple in California's Central Valley, this FQHC has built a reputation for putting people first-creating an environment where your ideas are heard, your leadership has impact, and your voice matters.

As the Regional Medical Director, you'll work closely with the Chief Medical Officer to support clinical operations, organizational growth, and compliance. You'll oversee five clinic sites from Merced to Livingston, providing leadership to approximately 20 experienced providers.

There are currently 10 total clinical sites with multiple service lines including Primary Care, Dental, School-Based Services, Pharmacy, Imaging, and Lab on-site creating a diversified and sustainable business model. This organization is growing and building with plans to open new clinic locations and kick-off new community partnerships within the next 18 months!

• Part of your time will be spent on administrative duties (60%), while continuing to see patients (40%)
• Work closely with the CMO and Northern Territory Regional Medical Director
• Develop exceptional providers

Requirements
