AMI Network seeks an Associate Medical Director – Primary Care in North Hollywood/North Hills, CA. This on-site leadership post partners with the Chief Medical Officer to mentor physicians and guide clinical strategy across sites.

The role oversees quality, provider development, and PCMH initiatives, with relocation assistance and an incentive program up to $27,500 annually plus a $320K–$350K base. Full-time, on-site leadership opportunity.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or OB/GYN.
  • Active California medical license (or eligible).
  • Minimum 2–4 years of physician leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience in an FQHC or PCMH environment.
  • Passion for mentoring providers, improving quality, and leading collaborative teams.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and develop physicians and advanced practice providers.
  • Support provider recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and privileging.
  • Improve quality metrics, clinical performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives across multiple clinic sites.
  • Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, operations, and executive leadership to strengthen integrated care.
  • Help guide PCMH initiatives and clinical best practices.
  • Oversee special projects in medical education, homeless medicine, and community outreach.

Partner directly with the Chief Medical Officer as the inaugural Associate Medical Director for a respected, mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving the San Fernando Valley for more 55 years.

Your Impact

Working closely with the Chief Medical Officer, you will:

  • Support provider recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and privileging

  • Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, operations, and executive leadership to strengthen integrated care
