Millennium Physician Group seeks a Regional Medical Assistant Floater (CMA/RMA) to support ambulatory care delivery in the Venice region, with a home base in Venice, FL and travel to Nokomis locations. The role emphasizes patient rooming, visit preparation, and clinical documentation workflows to ensure smooth visits and high-quality care.

The ideal candidate has CMA/RMA certification, strong EHR skills, and experience in ambulatory care.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMA, RMA, or equivalent Medical Assistant certification/registration required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
• Experience in ambulatory care and clinical support workflows advantageous.

Mansioni

• Manage patient rooming, intake, visit preparation, and clinical documentation workflows for routine and non-routine visits.
• Support complex clinic flow by anticipating provider needs, coordinating procedure preparation, and resolving workflow barriers.
• Perform and document point-of-care testing, specimen handling, medication support, and clinical tasks with accuracy.
• Review patient charts, care gaps, standing orders, and visit readiness to support efficient provider encounters.
• Support quality gap closure activities, care gap outreach, workflow pilots, and documentation improvements.
• Provide subject-matter guidance to newer staff on clinical procedures, EHR workflows, safety practices, and site standards.
• Investigate and resolve non-routine clinical support issues and equipment problems.
