Job summary

VIPCARE is seeking a Regional Medical Assistant (MA) Float to provide clinical and administrative support across multiple clinics. Under supervision, you will prepare patients, assist during visits, and support front office operations.

This role includes travel within the region about 85% of the time to ensure consistent patient care. You will document encounters in EMR, perform basic procedures, and support outreach for preventive care and wellness visits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA preferred.
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience in a physician practice or ambulatory setting preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA regulations; EMR proficiency essential.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and prepare them for provider examinations with history and records in EMR.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Perform in-office diagnostic testing and basic phlebotomy as allowed.
• Document encounters, results, and communications in EMR accurately.
• Coordinate outbound/inbound patient communications and care transitions.
