Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering advice to regional operations management and appropriate personnel in one or more functional area (mechanical).
• Develop and participate in technical protection and maintenance programs compatible with company, governmental and safety requirements; assist in implementation and modification.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure program, procedure and code compliance; coordinate regional activities to resolve deficiencies.
• Provide engineering/technical guidance and training to regional personnel in areas of functional accountability.
• Act as a consultant to identify and resolve problems, analyze malfunctions or perform complex modifications or repairs in assigned areas.
• Develop or coordinate region-wide plans in assigned functional areas; monitor and report program status and plans.
• Provide technical leadership to staff and input to project planning.
