Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Regional Reimbursement leader to oversee MDS services across multiple facilities. You will train and support MDS Coordinators, ensure correct resident assessments, and drive compliant billing aligned with federal and state regulations.

The role requires RN licensure in the state of practice, a nursing degree, and at least five years in long-term or acute care with multi-facility MDS experience. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the applicable state.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Minimum of five (5) years in long-term or acute health care.
• Minimum of five (5) years working as an MDS Nurse in long-term or acute health care.
• At least three (3) years of multi-facility, regional MDS experience.

Responsibilities

• Consults with MDS Coordinators and provides guidance on policies and regulations.
• Trains new MDS Coordinators on resident assessments, care plans and documentation.
• Trains new MDS Coordinators on the RAI manual and MDS deadlines.
• Ensures compliance with standards and regulations across facilities.
• Coordinates with Compliance Team to ensure compliant billing and practice.
