Job summary

BaneCare Management LLC seeks an experienced Regional MDS Coordinator to support Eastern Massachusetts nursing centers, including the Boston area. This flexible per diem role offers weekday hours, mentorship, and impact across multiple facilities.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, clinically strong, and capable of mentoring interdisciplinary teams while ensuring accurate MDS assessments and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MDS experience in skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of RAI, MDS 3.0, Medicare PPS, PDPM, OBRA, and care planning.
• MA RN or MA LPN license required.
• Ability to travel throughout Eastern Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide MDS coverage and support to skilled nursing facilities as needed.
• Complete and review MDS assessments for accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist centers with Medicare PPS and PDPM processes.
• Support interdisciplinary care plan development.
• Conduct MDS audits and identify opportunities for reimbursement optimization.
• Mentor and educate facility MDS staff and nursing leadership.
• Help facilities maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
