Job summary

BaneCare is seeking a Regional MDS Coordinator to support skilled nursing centers across Eastern Massachusetts, including Boston, South Shore and North Shore. This per diem, weekday role offers flexibility to impact multiple facilities and work with a supportive clinical leadership team.

The ideal candidate has MA RN or LPN licensure, at least 2 years of MDS experience, and strong knowledge of RAI, MDS 3.0, Medicare PPS, PDPM, OBRA, and care planning. Travel across Eastern MA is required.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN or LPN license
• Minimum 2 years MDS experience in a skilled nursing facility
• Strong knowledge of RAI, MDS 3.0, Medicare PPS, PDPM, OBRA, and care planning
• Ability to travel throughout Eastern Massachusetts
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Provide MDS coverage and support to skilled nursing facilities as needed
• Complete and review MDS assessments for accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance
• Assist centers with Medicare PPS and PDPM processes
• Support interdisciplinary care plan development
• Conduct MDS audits and identify opportunities for reimbursement optimization
• Mentor and educate facility MDS staff and nursing leadership
• Help facilities maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
