Job summary

Our client is seeking a friendly, reliable RN to provide clinical leadership in MDS services across multiple facilities. The MDS Consultant will support quality care and fiscal responsibility through training and program review of MDS processes in accordance with federal, state and local laws.

The role requires current RN licensure, a nursing degree, at least five years in long-term or acute care, and multi-facility MDS experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state where practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Minimum 5 years in long-term or acute health care.
• Minimum 5 years as an MDS Nurse in long-term or acute care.
• At least 3 years of multi-facility, regional MDS experience.

Responsibilities

• Consults with MDS Coordinators to ensure policy compliance.
• Trains new MDS Coordinators on assessments, plans of care, and documentation.
• Oversees MDS practices to meet federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develops metrics and benchmarks for quality of care and performance.
• Supports site leadership to improve resident satisfaction and safety.
