Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking an experienced Regional Reimbursement Nurse Manager to lead MDS services across multiple facilities in Texas. Responsibilities include development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of MDS programs, ensuring quality care and cost effectiveness in accordance with regulations.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed RN with at least a bachelor’s or associate degree, 5+ years in long-term or acute care, and 3+ years regional MDS leadership experience,

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state practiced.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited nursing program required.
• Minimum 5 years in long-term or acute health care.
• Minimum 5 years working as an MDS Nurse in long-term or acute care.
• At least 3 years of multi-facility regional MDS experience.

Responsibilities

• Consults with MDS Coordinators through visits and policy interpretations.
• Trains new MDS Coordinators on resident assessments and plans of care.
• Ensures compliance with RAI guidelines and deadlines.
• Observes practices for regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Leads facility management in developing a comprehensive business plan.
