Job summary

Aspire Senior Living is seeking a Regional MDS Coordinator to oversee MDS assessments across our nursing facilities in Missouri. You will interview residents, review medical records, and ensure accurate, timely coding in alignment with state and federal guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing or related field and active Missouri RN licensure, plus strong communication and organizational skills to educate and support care teams while maintaining compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field is required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing setting, preferably in MDS coordination.
• Current RN licensure in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct accurate and timely MDS assessments for residents in our skilled nursing facilities.
• Review medical records and conduct resident interviews to gather necessary information.
• Provide education and support to the care team to ensure compliance with MDS regulations.
• Identify and report concerns or issues related to resident care and quality of life.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.

About the Role

As a Regional MDS Coordinator with Aspire Senior Living, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining accurate and timely Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments for residents in our skilled nursing facilities. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care possible.
