Position Title: Regional Marketing/Merchandising Manager

Reports To: Chief Creative Officer

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 / year

Other Compensation: 10% Bonus

Job Summary

The Regional Marketing/Merchandising Manager drives corporate initiatives, maintains brand standards, and leads regional marketing strategies to support growth and sales objectives. This role combines creativity with strategic planning and requires coordinating marketing plans to enhance brand presence and customer engagement.

Collaborating with the corporate marketing & creative services department and operational services, the manager supports regional programs, develops innovative marketing initiatives, and aligns efforts with company goals. Responsibilities include managing promotional materials, digital applications, and service innovations to elevate the business.

This position includes a company car for travel and requires up to 30% travel (including flights outside NJ) within the region for marketing support, site visits, account reviews, and operational initiatives.

Position Responsibilities
  1. Partner with operations teams to implement monthly marketing initiatives, maintain quality standards, and support presentations, site visits, and reviews.
  2. Develop regional marketing strategies aligned with local trends and consumer preferences.
  3. Coordinate and execute strategic marketing projects with the marketing team.
  4. Analyze and report on marketing performance metrics and initiatives to the Chief Creative Officer, ensuring alignment with growth goals and KPIs.
  5. Gain deep knowledge of the regional marketplace, providing insights to unit operators.
  6. Create innovative marketing and merchandising strategies to stay competitive against local food retailers and corporate dining services.
  7. Manage the development and distribution of monthly marketing resources, ensuring quality standards.
  8. Support new account openings with front-of-house marketing, branding, and communication strategies.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging marketing technologies.
  10. Collaborate with vendors and partners for seamless marketing program execution.
  11. Assist units in crafting quarterly business reports on marketing efforts and business impact.
  12. Support corporate sales, wellness, culinary, and marketing teams during site tours and brand-building initiatives.
  13. Lead and contribute to marketing projects related to business development and digital solutions.
  14. Assist in creating and executing sales development strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in marketing, communications, or operations in a similar role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for compelling brand messaging.
  • Strong merchandising and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience with video content creation/editing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, social media, and digital applications is advantageous.
