The Opportunity

This position is a field-based role based in Hoboken, NJ, within the Cardiac Rhythm Management Leadless division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve how doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats.

What You’ll Work On

The Sr. Regional Leadless Specialist provides technical, clinical, educational, and sales support to promote adoption and growth of Abbott leadless technology. The specialist works closely with internal and external customers to drive therapy adoption and procedural success.

Job Duties:
  • Educate physicians, nurses, educators, and other healthcare providers on indications and patient selection for leadless pacing.
  • Provide procedural support following instructions for use/trial protocols and best practices to ensure procedural consistency and optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Assist in education and training activities for Abbott personnel.
  • Stay informed of and communicate clinical data regarding leadless CRM products.
  • Coordinate and deliver programs and resources to facilitate market expansion and therapy access.
  • Provide market intelligence to refine therapy training and expansion strategies.
  • Liaise with marketing for feedback on technology improvements and next-generation products.
  • Complete administrative reports as assigned.
  • Exercise judgment in planning and organizing work; monitor performance and report status.
  • Use best business practices to ensure success and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure employee compliance with Abbott policies and practices.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., engineering) or equivalent/related experience.
  • 5+ years of clinical medical device experience, preferably with CRM products.
  • 3-5 years of clinical medical device experience, ideally with CRM products.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate complex devices.
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Comfort navigating medical environments, including labs and hospitals.
  • Proven success in leading and influencing customers, providing guidance as needed.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations, and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar applications.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50-75%).

Preferred:

  • Cardiac leadless device training or certification.
  • Previous sales experience and business acumen.

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $75,300 to $150,700. In specific locations, the pay range may vary.
