Job summary

West Fraser is seeking a field-based sales/marketing professional to manage an assigned territory in the home/building markets. You will be a technical resource and product expert while growing relationships and developing a regional marketing plan.

You’ll design regional campaigns, promote products to yards and builders, and work with inside sales and marketing to meet revenue goals, while mentoring staff and contributing to broader planning discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing/sales within wood products.
• Strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze product usage, trends and threats by geography.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships with excellent service and follow-up.
• Design regional marketing programs with pro-dealers, retailers and builders.
• Promote products to contractor yards and builders.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on products and programs.
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key customers.
