We are seeking a Regional Manufacturing Engineer for our customer, County Materials.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analyses of manufacturing processes to identify areas for optimization and standardization.
  • Work collaboratively with local plant operations and QC teams to understand current workflows, equipment utilization, and operational challenges.
  • Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs), visual aids, and training materials to improve operator efficiency and equipment utilization.
  • Provide technical support for new plant startups, including equipment layout validation, SOP development, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Benchmark regional processes, identify best practices, and facilitate knowledge sharing among facilities.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams for projects involving automation, process improvement, and capital equipment installation.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations documenting findings, recommendations, and results of improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret process data and implement practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel to regional facilities as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience developing or enhancing SOPs and process documentation.
