Job summary
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Regional Manager to lead a team of Remote Optimization Specialists and cross-functional staff across multiple cement plants in the Irving, TX region. You will drive operational excellence through process optimization, performance initiatives, and best-practice application, coordinating with plant leadership and regional teams.
The role requires strong leadership, experience in heavy industrial environments, and a track record of improving efficiency,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience leading technical or cross-functional teams in heavy industry.
- Strong communication and collaboration across plant, regional, and corporate teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop regional team of ROS and support staff with coaching and performance management.
- Partner with plant/regional leadership to drive optimization and best practices.
- Oversee operational support across multiple cement plants and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor plant performance, identify improvements, and implement efficiency measures.
- Support resource planning, budgeting, outages, automation optimization, and CI initiatives.
