Job summary

Cambridge Management, Inc. is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee multiple LIHTC and HUD multifamily communities in the Tacoma area. You will drive profitability, lead property teams, enforce policies, and coordinate with owners and directors to meet occupancy and income targets.

The role requires strong financial acumen, knowledge of fair housing regulations, and excellent communication. Travel within the region is expected; a bachelor’s degree is preferred and 5+ years of property management

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Graduate, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in property management with recent experience as a Regional Property Manager.
• Experience in managing LIHTC and HUD multifamily properties.
• Working knowledge of applicable Landlord Tenant Laws, Fair Housing Regulations, LIHTC/HUD Programs, and other laws as they relate to property specific guidelines and occupancy standards.
• Experience managing up to 1,500 units within a multi-site region.
• Up to 80% travel within assigned region.
• Up to 10% travel outside of assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee communities to achieve financial and operational targets.
• Monitor employee performance and coordinate HR actions.
• Ensure community procedures and occupancy/income targets are followed.
• Collaborate with Community Managers on budgets and plans.
• Conduct regular community inspections and audits.
• Hire, train, and manage community staff and vendors.
• Coordinate with Syndicators, state agencies, and Owner Representatives.
• Prepare regional reports and advocate for portfolio improvements.
